Really Random Numbers provides an alternative to pseudo-random number generators for desktop applications.

Really Random Numbers uses a real-time number generation process. The software runs efficiently in the background, building up random data. A simple programming interace or file-based access allow you to quickly retrieve random data for use in your own applications.

Random data can be retrieved as any of the following:

• Random integers
• Random double precision floating point values between 0 and 1.
• Random binary data.
• Random permutations and combinations (selecting n items from a total k items available, like lottery numbers for example).
• Random character strings (for example, used for passwords).
